For this series I wanted to use the rusty background I picked up recently, and contrast it to create financial concepts.  Here it is with an old gold standard currency note and gold coins addressing a nostalgic look at old money.
In this instance I used a penny, the opposite end of the currency spectrum from gold.  By showing it about to be squeezed in a vice, the photo can be used to illustrate tight money concepts.  Both images were taken with the Nikon D7000 and 40mm macro lens with a stopped-down aperture to give depth-of-field that would hold detail in the rusty background.
